"BABY-SITTIN'"
A new, sexy neighbor asks Meatball to watch her baby while she runs some errands.
He agrees without considering Spaghetti- (Meatball is smitten with the mother).
After mom leaves, Spaghetti comes out of his room (He was practicing his trumpet)...
"Who's the crumb snatcher, palzee?", Spaghetti demands. After Meatball explains,
Spaghetti retreats to his room, and slams the door.
Immediately, the kid starts crying. Meatball molds his face into a variety of weird shapes
and kiddie show personalities: first Barney, then a Teletubbie, then Michael Jackson
(now the kid really starts to wail!) Spaghetti can't get back to blowing his horn, so he
slithers into the living room from under the door (very upset). "Perhaps the ankle-biter's
hungry..?" Spaghetti asks. Meatball scans the room and eyes a goldfish tank.
They agree that the baby might like fish. A pasta lasso lowers into the tank and
grabs an elderly goldfish. (1 of 3 goldfish). Spaghetti flips the fish into the kid's
mouth. (Cut to fish traveling thru kid's intestines)
The fish immediately exits out
the child's butt-crack. The old goldfish careens off a wall and lands back into the
tank. "Have I got a story for you kids!" he says as the other fish roll their eyes.
The baby starts crying again. "Maybe I have a toy he can play with!", Meatball suggests.
Meatball gives the kid a hula-girl lamp, an ashtray, and a cup of coffee.
None of this works and the tyke only cries louder. Spaghetti can't stand it
anymore ("THE NOISE, THE NOISE!!") and starts hitting himself on the head with
various plates from his closet/wardrobe.
Amused, the baby stops wailing. The mother
arrives to retrieve her offspring., and Meatball rushes the battered Spaghetti to the
hospital. In the hospital room, the doctor enters and tells Meatball there's nothing
to worry about-- "Just some irritable bowel syndrome and change his sauce once a day."
They all laugh and Spaghetti says "Sing us a song, Meat..!". Meatball carries us out of
the episode singing "You're no-body 'till some-body loves youuuu......"
